Identity guidelines
An identity rarely breaks from bad design; it breaks because no one knows the rules for using it. Identity guidelines (an identity handbook) are the rulebook so your team and partners apply it correctly on their own, without asking again.
We already have a logo and identity set; is doing Identity guidelines redundant?
A logo answers what the brand looks like; guidelines answer how everyone uses it correctly. The more people touch the identity, the more a clear rulebook saves time on back-and-forth fixes and protects the brand assets you have invested in.
An identity stays consistent as scale grows thanks to clear rules, not pretty files.
Five phases, each clearly timed

Sinh Vũ designs 15 to 30 templates for the real touchpoints so the team can apply them by looking, not guessing.A template library with editable source files
Handover and training

What you receive
Each document comes with its file format and the reason it helps you.

Anyone handling your logo uses the right proportions and enough breathing room, with no more distorted logos.

One color code everywhere, showing correctly on both screen and print.

Text always reads at one rhythm, and Vietnamese diacritics display correctly and cleanly across every department.

The team only swaps content into the standard templates to get on-brand output, with few errors.

Photos and captions keep one consistent character, and agencies write in the right voice from the first draft.

The rules do not sit dead in a downloaded file; anyone finds the right latest version when needed.

Before you send a brief for Identity guidelines
The identity set is the concrete design items such as logo, color and font. Identity guidelines are the document that sets how to use those items correctly, so anyone using them gets a consistent result, even someone who has never met Sinh Vũ.
Identity guidelines set how things are used correctly; they do not replace redesigning a logo or a weak item. If through discussion Sinh Vũ finds the original identity is not solid enough to write guidelines on top of, Sinh Vũ will say so plainly and propose the items to fix first, rather than writing a handbook for something not yet right.
The guidelines are written so that non-designers still apply them correctly, for example marketing staff making their own materials or an outside print partner. The language favors concrete do-and-do-not instructions over design theory.
Notion is the online version you can look up quickly and share by link with each person involved, instead of passing a heavy PDF back and forth many times. The PDF still exists for the official record; the Notion portal is an added convenience layer for daily use.
A business that only needs guidelines for office stationery is very different from one that needs them for packaging, signage and social too. Sinh Vũ needs to know the channels where you use the logo now and will in future before quoting, so you are not charged for what you do not need.
The timeline depends on the number of items to be specified and the complexity of the original identity. The specific milestones are agreed at quoting, once Sinh Vũ understands the real scope of work.
Not necessarily a full redo. If the extension still sits within the original identity framework, Sinh Vũ only adds new sections to the existing document, which is especially convenient with the Notion version since it updates directly without republishing the whole book.
The founder personally sets the content direction and controls quality at the key milestones, while the specialist team handles the detailed writing and layout. This way of working lets Sinh Vũ hold steady standards even while serving several clients at once.
