Professional services

Brand design for professional services

Clients cannot try expertise before they buy. They buy trust.

Lawyers, consultants, HR specialists and inspectors all sell something intangible. Sinh Vũ helps your expertise come across polished, consistent and trustworthy at every point clients touch.

Industry landscape01

Where do professional services stand in Vietnam?

The number of practitioners grows every year, and clients research more carefully before handing over work. When expertise is equal, the firm that presents itself more clearly and credibly gets the first call.

  • Expertise is hard to copyExperience, strong people and credentials cannot be imitated overnight.
  • Long-term relationshipsCorporate clients who trust you hand over work for years.

Challenges

  • Selling the intangibleClients cannot try before they buy, so they read quality from the firm's image.
  • A brand tied to one personClients trust the founder but find it hard to trust the whole team.
  • Professions with advertising limitsSome professions have their own rules on self-promotion, so the tone must be measured.
Profiles02

Which stage are you at?

Each stage has its own brand problem. Once you know yours, you know what to do first.

An expert who has just left to open their own practice

  • Clients come through personal relationships
  • The name, logo and profile are still makeshift
Do this first
Settle the positioning and the name, then build a core identity and a tight introductory profile.

A firm with a team that wants to depend less on its founder

  • Clients only want to work with one or two people
  • Every expert presents documents in a different way
Do this first
Build the organization's brand and one shared document template for every expert.

A firm serving large corporate clients

  • Takes part in tenders and pitches services to corporations
  • Needs bilingual profiles and polished reports
Do this first
Produce a capability profile, report templates and presentations at the level corporate clients expect.

A firm that needs a fresh image after a change

  • A merger, a rename or a change of leadership
  • The old image no longer matches the company as it is now
Do this first
Audit the brand, settle the new story, then change every touchpoint at once.
Pain points03

Six pain points design can fix

Design cannot replace expertise. But it can fix the pain points that keep clients from handing over work even when you are good at your craft.

06

A website like a directory

Only a list of services and a phone number, with no answer to what clients ask.

A website with the team, the fields of practice, expert articles and a way to book a meeting.

Customer journey04

Where do clients choose an expert firm?

Clients go through five stages before handing over work. Wherever the brand falls short, that is where the client is lost.

  1. Facing the problem

Search, ask people they know, read expert articles.

Common mistakeThey find the name but cannot tell whether the firm specializes in the work they need.

  2. Comparing

Look at websites, profiles, teams and past work.

Common mistakeEvery firm says the same things, and clients choose by price or by habit.

  3. First meeting

Book a meeting, explain the problem, hear the approach.

Common mistakeA strong expert, but a thin and sloppy proposal.

  4. Working together

Receive reports, opinions and certificates as the work progresses.

Common mistakeEvery person's documents look different, and clients struggle to follow.

  5. Returning and referring

Hand over new work, introduce partners.

Common mistakeSilence once the work is done, so clients forget you when they need help next time.

FAQ10

Frequently asked questions

Yes, in identity, website and introductory materials. Under Rule 32 of the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for Vietnamese lawyers, a lawyer advertising may not provide false or misleading information, and may not advertise in a way that harms the honor and reputation of the profession. Sinh Vũ designs in a dignified direction and promises no results; the specific content should be reviewed by the firm's lawyers.

A personal name suits a firm built around one expert that wants to stay that way. If you plan to grow the team or hand over the practice, an independent name lasts longer, and it should be decided early.

Leading fields of practice, the team and its experience, the working method, representative work you are allowed to cite, certifications and a point of contact. Less but clear beats listing everything.

On Sinh Vũ's site, accounting and audit sit in the finance industry, under the accounting and audit segment. The brand problem is close: both sell reliability and accuracy.

Chính Thắng (identity and website for a law firm), LIULAB (gemological appraisal) and GrowSteak (growth consulting).
