Dasanyuan, the red seal that stands firm on the shelf
The red 大三元 seal keeps the entire Dasanyuan roller door motor range, three lines and dozens of models, recognised and trusted at once among a shelf full of look-alike brands.

The problem
Set one roller door motor next to another and they look almost identical: the same machine block sitting inside the same kind of box. Buyers are usually installers and hardware shops, choosing by specification and by trust rather than by feeling. On a shelf crowded with look-alike brands, the hardest task was never making Dasanyuan prettier. It was making people recognise it, and trust it, from the far end of the shelf.
Dasanyuan carried its own additional problem: this was never a single product, but an entire range. Three lines, DASAN YUAN, STANDA and ECO, each with multiple models from DL300 to DL1500, plus remote controls and accessories. Every code has its own power rating, its own load capacity, its own item number. Making one box look good is easy. Keeping an entire catalogue of codes speaking with one voice, carrying one seal, is the hard part.
The approach
Before any drawing began, we settled where Dasanyuan stands: a Taiwan Technology roller door motor brand, durable and genuine, built for installers who need a name they never have to think twice about at warranty time. That position shaped everything after it, from the decisive red to a layout as straight and orderly as a specification sheet.
With a range this dense, naming is itself design. We built a readable coding system: three lines, DASAN YUAN, STANDA, ECO, for three segments, each model carrying a short code tied to its power and load rating. With that system, a seller finds the right machine in seconds, a buyer understands exactly what tier they are holding, and however many models Dasanyuan adds later, the table never breaks down.
Dasanyuan's identity distils down to a seal: the three characters 大三元 in red, sitting tight inside a rounded black block, with the line DASANYUAN and a firm statement, Taiwan Technology, underneath. That seal works like a mark of guarantee: the moment an installer sees it, they know this is genuine stock from the right source.
We built the seal as a system rather than a single image: a round version with the line Rolling door motor for machine labels, a reversed white-on-black version for dark surfaces, a single-colour version for economical printing. Whether stamped on kraft box board, pressed onto a black label, or printed on a warranty slip, it is still one Dasanyuan. That is where an identity system differs from a single logo: it is a seal that works everywhere without drifting.

The heaviest part was packaging, because Dasanyuan's packaging had to multiply across dozens of items without falling into disorder. We designed a shared template for the carton box and for the specification label: the same placement for the red seal, the same block listing model, voltage, power and load capacity, the same item code at the foot. Changing model means changing the numbers inside the template, never redrawing from scratch.
Thanks to that template, once the whole range is stacked on a shelf, the red-and-black kraft boxes stand as one continuous wall, each box its own code but all in the same rhythm. What used to be dozens of separate designs, one style at a time, is now an open system: when Dasanyuan releases another machine, it simply fills in the template, and on its first day on the shelf it already looks like it has been there for years.

The seal carries on past the box. We built a corporate document set so Dasanyuan stands correctly in front of its dealers: business cards, letterhead, envelopes, warranty cards and a remote control instruction sheet, all carrying the same red seal. For an installer, a clear warranty card and an easy-to-read instruction sheet are already part of the quality.
For selling, we built a catalogue and a Rolling Door Machine Operator specification sheet, gathering all three lines and their models into one compact reference document. And to be recognised from a distance, the seal scales up into a red-and-black dealer signboard out on the storefront. From the small label on the machine to the large sign on the street, it is still one Dasanyuan, one voice.

The result
What Dasanyuan gained was not a logo, but a seal that runs across an entire product range and across eleven years of partnership. Whether a buyer meets it on the kraft box, on the machine's black label, on the warranty card, or on the dealer signboard, it is still one brand, one level of trust.
In an industry where products easily look alike and get mistaken for one another, that consistency is not a matter of aesthetics. It lets Dasanyuan be recognised to be chosen, remembered to be bought again, and gives a dry, technical product range a face people can trust. One red seal, placed in the right spot, holds an entire system together.
One seal, an entire system
