GIFT for LIFE, a heart carried inside every box
GIFT for LIFE started out in corporate gifting, and needed a brand trustworthy enough to stand beside the biggest names. Sinh Vũ built the identity and packaging system, so every gift GFL sends out speaks a kind word on the giver's behalf.

The problem
Corporate gifting is a matter of trust. When a company sends a gift to a partner, a client, or an employee, it is really sending an image of itself. So the person making the gift is not selling a box, but selling the assurance that this gift will say thank you with enough grace.
GIFT for LIFE entered the trade as a new name. To be entrusted with something this consequential by large companies, GFL first needed a face composed enough to be believed, and a way of working consistent enough that every season, every client received the same quality. That is the part a startup brand finds hardest to build on its own.
The approach
Before any drawing began, Sinh Vũ and GFL answered the root question: what does a buyer of corporate gifts actually buy. The answer lies not in the box or what is inside it, but in the recipient's feeling of being valued, and the giver's confidence that they chose correctly. GFL, then, positioned itself not as a place that sells gifts, but as the partner that helps companies send their heart.
From that stance came the name Gift for life: a gift that stays with someone, like a relationship tended over a lifetime rather than one holiday season. This positioning went on to govern every choice that followed, from letterform to paper stock, so GFL always spoke in the voice of sincerity rather than the voice of a sales pitch.
The GFL symbol is a softly rounded box form, and right at its center, the negative space opens into a heart. The box is the gift, the heart is what it holds inside: the brand's whole philosophy said in a single shape. People see it once and remember, and remember exactly what GFL wants them to remember.
The gfl wordmark is drawn in a gentle serif, warm and slightly feminine, to balance the solidity of the box form and keep the brand refined without turning cold. A coral pink brings emotional warmth, navy holds the register of respectability, and a monochrome version prints cleanly on any material. The whole set was registered for protection, so GFL could enter the market as a genuine brand rather than a name still finding its feet.

Corporate gifting is never just one box. It is a whole set: outer box, inner tray insert, carry bag, card, sticker, incense tag. Sinh Vũ designed the entire set as one system with shared rules, from a drawn lotus motif and gilded mandala pattern, to a three colour palette of navy, wine red and gold, so that every piece in a set sits together and reads as one family.
More important than looking good, this system gives GFL the ability to move fast without losing quality. Whenever a new client or a new gifting season comes up, GFL does not start over but swaps content onto the same standardised frame: the same tray layout, the same pattern language, the same level of finish. Design here is not a single piece of packaging, but a machine that lets a small brand serve many large clients.

On top of the same standardised system, each company receives a gift set that speaks in its own voice. MB sends its clients a calendar and gilded lucky money envelopes wishing them a prosperous new year. VIMC, Vietnam Maritime Corporation, has a warm-toned Tet gift set in navy with gold mandala patterns. Viettel chose a premium nut gift set wrapped in an elegant lotus box. Made by the same GFL hand, each set speaks precisely in the language of its giver.
GFL also built its own product line, such as Cổ Thụ tea with a minimal, refined label for each of its scents, lotus, jasmine tea flower, mộc and jasmine. Seen across the range, from gift sets for large clients to its own product line, everything still sits within the same language: polished, warm, and trustworthy enough to be placed on the tables of the biggest names.

The result
What GIFT for LIFE gained was not a logo, but the standing of a brand. With a face trustworthy enough and a packaging system consistent enough, a startup name could sit at the same table as banks, corporations and conglomerates, and take on the task of carrying their image to their partners.
The heart inside the box, placed exactly where it belongs, works quietly on every gift set: it lets the recipient feel valued, and lets the giver trust that their sincerity was delivered the right way. For a gifting brand, that is a value that runs deeper than any layer of beautiful paper.
One hand, many gifting seasons
