A good-looking QR code that still scans

Enter a link or phone number, choose colors and a logo; the code is built and then scanned back to make sure phones can read it.

  • Your logo stays on your device
  • Scan-tested for you
  • PNG and SVG download
Why check

A code that will not scan is a broken promise

Sinh Vũ doctrine, article 8.04: test a mark at avatar size and every small size before approval. A QR code on a flyer, a package or a table is just such a small mark.

  • Pale colors the scanner cannot see

Scanners read codes by the difference between light and dark. Pale modules on white, or light modules on dark, leave many phones stuck.

  • A logo covering part of the code

A code tolerates some coverage thanks to error correction, but only up to a point. The larger the logo, the more easily the code fails when printed faintly or scratched.

  • Printed too small for where people stand

The farther away people stand, the larger the code must be. 2 cm is fine on a handheld flyer, but not on a wall two meters away.

Questions

What people often ask

Three questions Sinh Vũ often gets about this tool.

Does a code made here expire?

No. The code holds the link or phone number you enter directly, without passing through any Sinh Vũ server, so it never expires and no one counts the scans.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

Use PNG for posts, messages and websites. For the printer, use SVG, because it stays sharp at any size.

What if I want to change the link after printing?

A static code cannot be changed. If the link might change, point the code at a page on your own domain and redirect from there.
