This is a point that many clients overlook and which can ruin the print. The negative space must meet three conditions:
Missing one of the three, the printer will either reject the file, print the coverage in the wrong position, or lose the background color beneath the spot UV area.
The principle of maintaining a safe distance of at least 1.5 to 3 mm between the UV area and the fold or cut edge. It should be confirmed on a real print sample before running the batch.

The negative area must be drawn in vector, separated into its own layer in the file, assigned a spot color, and overprint enabled to avoid being knocked out when the printer processes the RIP file.
